Martha's most recent show, LVX VMBRA DEI, has been installed at two different churches during the season of Advent. The
inscription, from an old sundial, is Latin for "Light is the shadow of God." Martha combined light and dark wall
sculptures, shields, monotypes and even a sundial to fully explore her theme. Unfortunately the installation shot here doesn't
do justice to the intense quality of the light as it poured in the windows of St. Paul's Cathedral and shone onto the paper.
